We attended SMF annual meeting 2025 in Västerås – Movex continues to strengthen the moving industry
Movex had the pleasure of participating in the Swedish Furniture Transporters Association's annual meeting in Västerås on May 16–18, 2025. As a proud partner of SMF 2018, we value every opportunity to meet industry colleagues, gain new insights, and share how our system can simplify everyday life for moving companies. Brief overview of SMF
The Swedish Furniture Transporters Association (SMF) is the country's oldest trade association for household goods transporters. The association currently has 28 member companies, which together have more than 500 special vehicles for moving assignments. An SMF company guarantees, for example, valid traffic permits, trained staff with ID badges, written agreements, and a quality system that complies with the association's certified standard.

Friday, May 16 – joint dinner

As Pär needed to return to Gothenburg on Saturday afternoon, he unfortunately had to skip the evening's gala dinner – but not before making valuable contacts and booking several follow-up meetings.
